When Hockey Canada announced the 28 players selected to vie for a spot on the 2022 team the name of Meghan Agosta was absent.

The 4x Olympian was not on the list that included Sarah Nurse, Natalie Spooner and Renata Fast who all visited the town of Essex in December to lend a helping hand to the Stache 4 Cash charity event at Fury Training Grounds.

Currently a constable with the Vancouver Police Department the Windsor Wildcats grad had a storied run with Team Canada winning three Olympic gold medals, a silver and eight world championship medals.

The road to Beijing begins in Calgary with the final 23-player roster expected to be unveiled in December.
