Manny Silverio is a regular student now but in late April he was helping the Adrian College hockey team become a national champ. The former Lasalle Vipers forward helped the Dawgs win the 2021 ACHA MD1 title with a 6-1 over the Minot State Beavers.
Adrian College posted an 18-1 regular season setting up a tournament sweep. Silverio finished third in team scoring with three goals and four assists helping head coach Gary Astalos notch his 150th win in 159 games. Astalos joined Adrian College following a stint with the Kingsville Kings of the Greater Metro Junior A Hockey League.
