Tate Factor on Full Display as Cousins Lift Lancers and Saints
The Windsor Lancers women’s basketball team is back in the U Sports Top 10 this week, at #9, after an impressive weekend sweep of Carleton and Ottawa. Windsor opened by knocking off the 7th-ranked Carleton Ravens on Friday, then closed the homestand and first semester by taking care of business Saturday against the Ottawa Gee-Gees. Donoso stops 39 as Lancers blank Gryphons
The Windsor Lancers tightened things up in the OUA West race with a 4–0 win over the Guelph Gryphons, powered by a stellar 39-save shutout from goaltender Max Donoso. Windsor did all its damage in the first period. Colton Smith opened the scoring just 1:12 in off a feed a cross crease pass from Ty Toews. Toews With the teams playing 4-on-4, Keegan McMullen picked up the puck along the boards, broke in and fed a perfect backdoor pass to Toews to make it 2-0 at 5:11. Noah Szabo


Lancers off to best start in 16 years
