My name is Bob and here's why I launched Powerplay Sports. While on a trip to Italy in the summer of 2018 I found myself entering a charming pedestrian underpass which reminded me of being in the tunnel at the University of Michigan in the early part of my career.

 

That feeling led to thoughts of Windsor Lancers football camp opening in three weeks and all of the fall sports that weren't going to be covered because of cuts to local sports coverage by legacy media.

With the support of a loving wife and family, I decided to create Powerplay Sports as a passion project.

I've always been a local sports fan and enjoy sharing the successes of our players and teams.   ​

I am in your sports community checking in with local teams and highlighting what is going on.
