Express squander opportunity

Win game 3 and have a chance to win the Basketball Super League championship at home. That was the best case scenario but it was altered by Sudbury as the Five beat the Express in Windsor 94-88.
"I think we beat ourselves rather than them beating us." said Latin Davis who finished with 15 points and eight rebounds.
Trailing by seven in the 4th, Windsor got a spark from Mike Bruce who drained back to back three pointers to make it 76-75 but that's as close as they would get.
"I think we had a good game plan coming into it," Bruce said after dropping a game-high 24 points. "Just had a few mishaps down the stretch that were very key moments. I think that really hindered us."

The Express missed four three-point attempts in a two minute span trailing by six with 2:56 left.
Windsor's dream of winning their first title since 2015 and doing it at home is no longer an option. Now the goal is to stay alive and win game 4 home Friday to force a deciding game 5 in Sudbury Tuesday the 29th.
"Frustrating to have to drive all the way back to Sudbury," Bruce told Powerplay Sports.
"We're not out of it yet," Davis added. "It's just one game. We're only down 2-1. That's why there's a game 5."
