Greene nets two in loss

LaSalle's five-game win streak came to an end Sunday afternoon at the Vollmer as the London skated away with a 5-3 win. "We've beat some good teams over the course of the five games but London brought their game today." said Vipers head coach Chad Shepley.

Lucas Chard broke a 1-1 tie shorthanded at 11:38. Peter Fagan added a powerplay marker at 18:32 giving the Nats a 3-1 advantage heading into the third.

Kyle Greene scored twice in the final period for LaSalle cutting the deficit to one with 2:31 left in the period but Chard iced the game with an empty netter with 37 seconds left.

London snapped a four-game losing skid and host Caledon Wednesday. The Strathroy Rockets visit LaSalle Wednesday.
