Holy Names off to quick start on the pitch

The Holy Names senior girls soccer team is 2-0 after the first week of play. Leah Tate leads the team in scoring after potting three goals while Claire Pozzi has two. Alessia Venosa posted the clean sheet in the opener against the Saints and shared the shutout against the Lasers with Gabby Barile.

The Knights are set to host a one-day six-team tournament Thursday at home with proceeds going to the Hiatus House. Last year the team was able to donate $1,800.

Their next league game is scheduled for April 20th against Villanova at home. We were there for the St. Joe's game and saw Pozzi open up the scoring late in the first half and Morgan Rochleau in the second. See their goals in the video below.
