Harrow's Meghan Howell was the first woman across the finish line at last weekend's Ironman 70.3 Mont-Tremblant. She crossed the line in 4:47:22 seconds to claim the female title.
It’s one of the world’s most scenic half‑Ironman venues: a 1.9 km swim in Lac Tremblant, a 90 km bike through closed mountain roads, and a rolling 21.1 km run finishing in the pedestrian village blogue.tremblant.ca+2ironman.com+2ptittraindunord.com+2.
The 2024 race featured a Canadian sweep on the professional podium: Lionel Sanders (Harrow) took his sixth win (3:35:11), and Paula Findlay topped the women’s field (4:01:00) tri247.com+5proseries.ironman.com+5infodelalievre.ca+5.
Howell ran her first Detroit Free Press Marathon in 2022 and has not looked back.
