"He had a couple of really tough fights but he dominated every round against every opponent including Grayson." said Fighting Island head coach Joe LeBlanc. "For a 14-year old fighting a guy who is a couple of year older speaks volumes to Curtis' special skills. Everything he did was beyond what kids his age should be able to do."

Realba had ten fights going into the Championships and faced boxers with much more experience in the ring according LeBlanc. "His aggression and defence (in the final) was something to be seen. His mindset was there. We already knew his skill level was there. We just made sure his mind was where it needed to be and the rest was on his own."

LeBlanc is looking to keep the momentum going for his young boxer as he sets his sights on a match in Michigan in a couple of weeks.
