Updated: Dec 6, 2023

Sparky's Toy Drive is in full swing and looking to put smiles on the faces of up to three thousand kids during this holiday season.

Toy Drive organizers are looking for your help to collect sports balls for kids between 9-12. They would also like to offer sports related items as well including baseball gloves and hockey sticks. "Sports is something every kid can benefit from physically, socially and mentally." said Sparky's Toy Drive co-organizer Josh Easby. "We'd like to offer more of that in order to diversify and assist children in our community to experience the benefit of sport."

The balls and sports items can be dropped off at any of the seven firehalls in Windsor until Christmas day. They'll be included in a bag of toys that is put together and distributed to over a thousand families.

Sparky will be at the Spits game Sunday when they host Flint for the Teddy Bear toss.
