Windsor, ON — There was no stopping Matt Guenette on Saturday night, as the St. Clair Saints quarterback tossed six touchdown passes in a dominant 63–18 win over the London Beefeaters, securing an undefeated regular season and writing his name into the history books.

The Saints led 32–9 at halftime, but London briefly swung momentum in their favor with a pick-six early in the second half. Guenette, however, responded immediately with a momentum-crushing 56-yard strike to Riley Sagriff, bringing his season total to 31 touchdown passes—just one shy of the all-time Ontario Football Conference (OFC) record.
Moments later, the Holy Names Catholic High School grad made history. Guenette found Cameron St. Kitts-Park in the back of the endzone from 17 yards out to break the OFC single-season touchdown record. He sprinted down the field—faster than some running backs—to celebrate the milestone with his teammates.
But he wasn’t done yet.Late in the game, Guenette connected with Marselio Mendez, who was wide open for a 19-yard touchdown and again from 29-yards out—his fifth and sixth of the night—which also tied the Canadian Junior Football League (CJFL) all-time record for most touchdown passes in a season.
With the win, St. Clair capped off a perfect regular season, fueled by a record-breaking performance from their star quarterback.
