The Windsor Spitfires open training camp August 31st at the WFCU Centre. Ryan Abraham is one of 30 forwards that will suit up along with 18 defencemen and eight goalies. Abraham suffered an upper-body injury last season which limited him to 29 games. He put up nine goals and 35 points in those games.

The annual Blue-White game is set for September 2nd at 4pm. The Spits open the pre-season September 9th vs Flint. They'll visit the Firebirds at Iceland Arena the next night. Windsor opens the season September 29th on the road at Sarnia before their home opener the next day against Guelph.
