Adrian Bosev scored a pair of goals and Bryce Walcarius turned aside 31 shots as the Leamington Flyers opened the GOJHL Western Conference final with a 4-0 win.
Hayden Reid and Connor MacPherson also scored for the Flyers who led 3-0 after the first period.
The Flyers, who are 9-0 in these playoffs, handed the Lincolns their first loss of the post season.
Game 2 is Friday night at the Pyramid Recreation Centre in St. Mary's. Game 3 is back in Leamington Sunday at 7:10pm. The Flyers are looking to win their first conference championship since 2015.
