Updated: Dec 29, 2022

The Riverside Rangers U18 team looked to be cruising to an easy victory when Angelo Figliomeni made it 4-0 late in the second period. Frederikshaven came back strong in the third period. Rasmus Sorensen scored to make it 4-3 with over two minutes left but the visitors from Denmark couldn't find the equalizer.

Riverside learned their lesson and picked up the tempo in their next two games. The Rangers beat Tecumseh 5-2 Wednesday night and posted a resounding 7-1 victory over North Durham Thursday afternoon.

The Rangers have a 3-0 record heading into their final game of the round robin Friday afternoon against Amherstburg at 12:10 in the Green Shield Rink. Riverside has qualified for the final at 4:30 and are going for a repeat.
