The St. Clair women's basketball team is heading to the OCAA semi-finals after beating George Brown 74-66 Friday night in front of a full house at the Sportsplex. The Saints seemed to be in control leading by 17-points in the third quarter but the Huskies chipped away and tied the game at 46 in the fourth.

"Definitely took a turn but you know, we had to keep pushing through that" said Saints guard Anna Ulicny who scored 12 points. Jana Kucera led all scorer with 20 points, 8 rebounds for the Saints.

2nd year guard Noor Bazzi gave the Saints a boost hitting a couple of big shots. She dropped a slick jumper and a three-pointer giving St. Clair a nine-point lead with 5:54 left in the fourth. The Huskies didn't roll over as they knocked the deficit down to three with 1:43 left in the game. Bazzi calmly hit a three-pointer helping the Saints advance to the semi-final.

" I was nervous at the beginning of the game but afterwards I got into the game and I was just comfortable" said Bazzi who scored 17 points and pulled down 16 rebounds. "We're hungry. We're very hungry".

St. Clair will face Humber, who beat Sheridan 85-66, Saturday night at 6.
