Bolton turns aside 40 as Lakeshore wins

The Lakeshore Canadiens beat the Thamesford Trojans 5-1 Friday night to take a 2-0 series lead. "We played hard tonight." said head coach Anthony Iaquinta. "It's a hard arena to play in. We kept the game simple. Got a bounce here and a bounce at the right time and we're able to come out with the win."

Eric Bisson and Bryce Scarlett each had a goal and two assists while goaltender Nick Bolton stopped 40 shots to lead the Canadiens who have scored 10 goals and allowed three in the first two games of the series.

Game 3 is Sunday night in Lakeshore. "The key for us looking at Sunday and make sure we come out with a good effort." Iaquinta said. "Last thing you wanna do is give them life."
