The St. Clair men's basketball team opens the OCAA Final 4 Saturday night at 6 against Durham. It's the programs 4th consecutive trip to the provincial championships. For guard Jacob Masters, it's his third straight. He made it to the final in 2023 with George Brown but lost in the final at St. Clair vs the Saints. Last season George Brown was again a bridesmaid losing to Humber in the final. He's hoping third time is the charm with St. Clair who finished second in the west at 16-2 behind 18-0 Humber.

St. Clair is riding an 8-game win streak into the opener against the Lords who were 19-1 in the east. The Saints had the most potent offence in the league this season averaging almost 97 points per game. 4th year forward Mazin Tiea, Masters and Kyle Brown-Fazekas were named OCAA first team all-stars earlier this week.

The winner of Saturday's game will square off against the winner between Georgian and Humber for the gold medal Sunday afternoon at 3:30. The loser plays for bronze at 1:00pm.

Here's Masters talking about his latest trip to the Final 4.
