Commitment paid off for Jaworski

Like many athletes sidelined by the pandemic Chris Jaworski of Holy Names continued to work. The grade 12 student remained focused on his goal of playing football at the next level and has done everything he could to stay sharp during the pandemic.

"To stay motivated over the year and a half was definitely tricky". said Jaworski. "It was natural. It wasn't a chore or anything. I was glad to do it".

He committed to the University of Windsor in April and is taking medical science. While a member of the Essex County Ravens Jaworski played at Alumni Field and also took in a few Lancers' games. "The crowd. The intensity of the game. I fell in love with it. Can't wait to experience it myself now".
