High School Sr. Girls Basketball All-Stars

The Tecumseh Saints basketball program sponsored the high school sr. girls all-star game Monday night at St. Anne. Guest coaches were Bethany Wachna from Windsor Police and Kim Maroun from Windsor Fire and Rescue.

Team Fire got off to a hot start leading 20-8 at the half. Maya Vonella scored seven of her game-high 22 to pace Moroun's team. Team Police picked up the pace in the second cutting their deficit to seven points by halftime.
Moroun's team caught fire in the third outscoring Team Police by ten. They went on to take the game by a score of 67-47.
Addison Ficon pitched in 17 for Team Fire while Leah Shannon lead Team Police with 18 points.
"We are thankful for the support of the Tecumseh Saints Basketball Club for helping us put this together." said league convenor Dave Fuerth. "Special shout out to club secretary Chris Robillard for his support of youth sports in our area."
