Hockey legends coming to Windsor

The Celebrity Hockey Classic Series is coming to Windsor this week starting with a draft at the St. Clair Centre for the Arts Thursday. "For me, to be able to play with Rick Vaive or Al Iafrate, there's a lot of big hockey players that come with this." said city councillor Renaldo Agostino. "It's really a chance of a lifetime."

The Hockey Classic benefits Easter Seals and so far will feature a roster that includes the entertaining Andre Roy, Al Iafrate, Mike Krushelnyski, Wendal Clark and more. Fundraising for the event has already begun with close to $18,000 raised. The goal is $45,000 to help with Easter Seals programs and initiatives.

You can be part of the action with game day on December 1st. Agostino is putting together a team called the Downtown Dragons. He says to DM his Facebook page if interested. You can also sign up or enter a team online. Celebrity Hockey Classic Series (e2rm.com)
