After four years of being shut out of reaching SWOSSA, Holy Names goaltender Shawna Isbister threw up a goose egg on Sandwich as the Knights beat the Sabres 3-0 to win the WECSSAA AAA championship.

"This year was the year,"

"We've always been either kicked out in the quarters, semi-finals. It meant a lot to win today." Isbister said.

Emily Owen scored a pair of first period goals while Angelina Nawlawny scored on a penalty shot in the second period to account for all the scoring.

Holy Names advances to SWOSSA.
