Lakeshore strikes first

The Lakeshore Canadiens opened round two of the PJHL Stobbs division playoffs with a convincing 5-2 win over the Essex 73's. Tycen Chittle scored a pair of goals including the game winner on a highlight reel goal.


Lakeshore led 2-0 after the first period. The Canadiens fired 18 shots at Essex goalie Jax D'Hondt who did his best to keep his team in the game. He faced 34 shots making 29 saves.


Game 2 is Friday night in Essex. Puck drop 7pm.
