Lancers Honoured

Updated: May 30, 2019

Carly Steer and Pierce Johnson were named University of Windsor Athletes of the Year during the Athletic Banquet.

Steer was a lethal outside shooter during her career on the hardwood. In her final season the Holy Names grad became the all-time three-point shooter in OUA history with a total of 229 from outside the arc. She also finished as only one of six Lancers in the history of the program to score over one thousand points.

Johnson established himself as a premier player in USports this season finishing second in the OUA in hitting percentage, fourth in kills per set and fifth in total points. The Chatham native earned the nod as a USports All-Canadian. https://golancers.ca/news/2019/4/1/general-steer-johnson-named-athletes-of-the-year.aspx
