Lancers lose battle vs Warriors

The University women's volleyball team dropped their home opener to Waterloo in straight sets Friday night at the St. Denis Centre 21-25, 15-25 and 21-25. The Lancers fought hard and led for parts of the third set but The Warriors strong net presence played a factor as Waterloo prevailed for their first win of the season. The visitors held a decided edge with 12 blocks compared to 4 by Windsor. Ally Winik had a strong game with nine kills. Sophmore Hannah Camrass had 7 kills and 7 digs. The Lancers face Guelph Saturday night.
