Lancers Track & Field ready for opener

The University of Windsor track and field team is hosting the Can-Am Classic starting Friday at 5pm at the Fairall Fieldhouse. It'll be their first meet at home since the 2018 season. Last year the St. Denis went through some upgrades that didn't allow the Lancers to host.

It's a young squad with half of the team heading into their first home meet. Inglis says he is looking forward to seeing how his team reacts to competing on campus and how and how they use the experience moving forward.

The men's team had a strong showing during the cross country season finishing 4th at the OUA championship. Joshua Martin who was named an all-star after finishing 10th.
