The Vipers were playing their first game since returning from their mystery trip to Nashville last weekend. They came out sluggish but scored a pair of goals during the 12th minute of the game to take the lead. Tucker Firth cut the lead in half before the period ended.

The home team nursed a 3-2 lead early in the second before scoring seven unanswered to close out the game. LaSalle's leading scorer Stephane Crevier led the way offensively with a goal and five assists. Abdul Abouzeeni had a goal and four assists. Stars goalie faced 43 shots making 33 saves including one on a second period penalty shot.
