Law-Heese and Gravelle honoured

Big accolades for Windsor Lancers men's volleyball head coach James Gravelle and 4th year setter Markus Law-Heese. Gravelle earned OUA Head Coach of the Year after leading the Lancers to a program-best 18-2 record and the top seed in the league. They were ranked in the USports Top-10 all season. This is Gravelle second nod as coach of the year, with his first coming during the 2022-23 season when the Lancers made it to the OUA final before losing to McMaster in straight sets.

Under his guidance four players received accolades. Law-Heese set himself up as Player of The Year. He ran the offence and perfected the the slam-dunk dish. The Aurora, Ontario native is a two-time OUA All-Star who recorded 720 during the regular season ranking him third in the league.


Law-Heese was also named a First Team All-Star while QUintin Greenidge and Darian Koskie made the Second Team. Gustavo Sigueira landed as a Third Team All-Star.


Windsor hosts Queen's Friday night at 7pm for the OUA championships at the Toldo Lancer Centre.
