Ledrew hoping dream comes true

Belle River's Trent Ledrew is one of many Windsor-Essex players hoping to hear their name during this weekend's OHL draft. The Chatham Cyclones grad tallied 19 points in 32 games during the shortened 2019-2020 season finishing 5th overall in Alliance scoring among defencemen.

Ledrew grew five inches and gained thirty pounds since that season and wishes he could have shown scouts what he could do in his new frame. The St. Anne's student gives thanks to the Cyclones program for helping put him in a position to take the next step in his hockey career.
