Saints brushing offence with rookie

It's not an easy task but it's one St. Clair football head coach Mike Lachance knows comes with the job. With four players vying for the starting quarterback job Lachance and his staff chose to hand the ball for Saturday's season opener to Andrew Brush.

The Kitchener native is a transfer from the University of Windsor. Lachance says he likes Brush's size and arm strength. "He will grow with this offence as he learns the nuances of what I like to do. We are excited about what he brings to the table."

The Saints open the 2022 season Saturday night at Acumen Stadium in South Windsor.
