Saints volleyball working on being road warriors

Head coach Jimmy El-Turk feels his volleyball team is trending upwards with room to improve as the team heads into the stretch run. With four games left the Saints have an 11-3 record and sit tied with Conestoga for 2nd in the OCAA West Division.

"We just trying to get ourselves battle tested here because we're a young group in terms of playoff experience." said El-Turk.

St. Clair has held serve at home winning six of their seven matches. With a 5-2 mark away from the Sportsplex El-Turk is looking forward to the final weekend of the regular season on the road at (1st place) Humber (14-0) and Sheridan.

"We got two big matches this weekend at home but we have to win on the road because we're not hosting provincials so we gotta go on the road and find a way to play better. We've been good at home but haven't necessarily played awesome on the road."

STATS:

Geneva Huisman is third in the OCAA with 33 blocked shots. Emma Clements is 12th with 31 service aces. Huggins is 12th with 125 kills. Mikayla Stocks is 14th with 123 digs.
