It took a while but the OHL's first overall pick is officially signed on with the Windsor Spitfires. "As soon as I drafted by the Windsor Spitfires organization I knew it was going to get done," said the 6'5, 230 pound forward who was in Windsor Saturday afternoon for orientation camp. "It's such an honour, it's such a priviledge that I got to to be able to do this in front of all the season ticket holders."
The dust has settled from a busy April that saw Beltchetz win the OHL Cup and earn tournament MVP with his hometown Oakville Rangers and get drafted first overall to the Windsor Spitfires.
His size, skill and shot power stood out during the first day of camp. Hear from Ethan and see him in action in the video below brought to you by the St. Clair College Alumni Association.
