Spitfires idled by OHL

A day after the World Juniors were cancelled the OHL has idled the Windsor Spitfires. Team activities have been suspended and Windsor's next two games have been postponed because of Covid-19 protocols.

The Spits were scheduled to play in Guelph tonight before hosting the Spirit tomorrow afternoon. Windsor lost 6-3 in Kitchener Tuesday night in their return from the Christmas break.

The two games are expected to be rescheduled. Team officials say hang on to your ticket and keep an eye on your email in the next week for more information.
