Sarnia took a 2-0 first period lead. The Spits battled back to tie on the strength of two Pasquale Zito powerplay goals in the second period. Sarnia took a 3-2 lead into the second intermission and scored three unanswered in the third. Windsor rookie Ethan Miedema scored his first OHL late in the game to close the scoring.
