The Essex 73's host their home opener Tuesday night against the Amherstburg Admirals.
The 73's opened the PJHL season on the road with a 3-1 in Wheatley Saturday night. Adrian McBride stopped 17 of 18 shots while Essex got goals from Jacob Fields, Carter Dembinski and Madden Drouillard.
The Admirals dropped their home opener Saturday night 2-1 against Walpole Island. Former 73's forward Jacob Archer scored the lone goal for Amherstburg.
Game time in Essex is 7pm.
