Vipers shutout Cambridge

The LaSalle Vipers extended their winning streak to three with a 3-0 win over Cambridge Wednesday night in a rare GOJHL crossover game. Kyle Greene's first period goal at 14:07 was the difference. Owen FindlayTre Altiman made 33 saves for his first shutout of the season.

The win gives the Vipers a two-point lead over London for top spot in the league with 25. The Nats have a game in hand. Strathroy is four points behind with two games in hand.

A head check late in the second period led to an outburst that saw two fights break out. The second one involving Kyle Greene could cost the team's leading scorer multiple games for being the second fight during a stoppage of play.

LaSalle is at Ayr to take on the Centennials Thursday night before returning home next Wednesday against Chatham.
