Windsor-Lakehead, winner advances to OUA final

They both finished tied for the top spot in the OUA West. It's fitting that Windsor and Lakehead will square off Saturday night for a chance to host the Queen's Cup final. The Lancers took game one at home Wednesday 4-0.

Windsor forward Mason Kohn opened the scoring at 3:29 of the first period in game two of their best-of-three series. Less than three minutes later Joe Mack evened it up for Lakehead.

The game remained tied and went to overtime where Griffen Fox ended it at 3:05 sending the crowd of over 3,700 into a frenzy at Fort Williams Gardens.

Drop of the puck for game three is 7pm. If Windsor wins they'll host the OUA final Saturday March 11th.
