Anna Pozzi does it again

The two-time defending OFSAA champs will get a chance to keep the streak alive after beating Sarnia St. Pat's 2-1 in extra time.

The Knights led 1-0 on a goal by Yasmine Kadri but the Irish tied the game with under two minutes left in regulation to send it to extras. Knights goalkeeper Alessia Venosa made a save on a scramble out front but the rebound found an open Ally Patrinos who deposited the ball into the open cage.

Anna Pozzi, who netted three in the WECSSAA final scored on a penalty kick six minutes into the first overtime after Kadri was tripped up in the goalie box.

Holy Names advances to OFSAA in Oakville June 5th.
