Cathedral beats Holy Names to win OFSAA gold

Keira Daly was dominant scoring 35 points to lead top seeded Hamilton's Cathedral to an85-73 win over Holy Names.


The Knights started off strong and led 30-18 after the first quarter on the heels of 11 points by Kiki Sran.

Daly responded with 19-points in the second half as the Gaels stormed back to take a 50-45 lead into halftime. Cathedral continued to push the pace in the third and broke open the game.


Leah Tate got hot in the 4th quarter scoring 12-points but it wasn't enough as the Gaels repeat as OFSAA champs. The Knights win silver.
