"It feels amazing." said first year senior Ahmad Altalid. "The last gym was dark. Now it's bright. Amazing. So clean."

The Comets were squeeky clean winning the first set 25-16. The Tartans rebounded to take the second set 26-24 setting the stage for an exciting tie-breaker. Both teams put together strong runs before going back and forth for the final few points. CCH took the rubber match 25-23 in front of a loud crowd.

"The energy got hyped up. Our fans helped us out and we just got the victory." said Joseph Alhoush, one of three senior returning from last year Tier 2 championship team. "Very encouraged. We're practicing a lot. We're trying to progress every practice, every game."

CCH went 10-0 during the regular season a year ago. Tuesday's win was a good start for a team trying to establish a new identity. "I hope in the future we win more games." said Altalid.

The Comets are back in action Thursday at Brennan when they take on the Cardinals.
