Ellis a big boost for Express

It didn't take long for Akeem Ellis to have an impact on the Windsor Express. "All the time. Practice. Everywhere. You know he's in the building which is great for us." said veteran forward Quinnel Brown.

Since signing with the Express Ellis has played four games and averaged 15.3 points per game it's his energy that has sparked a different vibe with the team. He claims he wasn't a hype man in a previous career. "No but I just realize that energy transfers." said the Brooklyn, New York native. "It gets the team going. Gets everybody hyped up. You need that energy in a game."

Meet Akeem and check out how hype the crowd gets when he's on the floor in this video brought to you by the St. Clair Alumni Association.
