Essex returning to OFSAA

The Red Raiders took the first two sets with easy by scores of 25-16 and 25-15 in front of a full gym at Essex High. The visitors looked as though they would be swept as they fell behind 21-16 but they fought back to tie the set at 22. It was a see-saw battle with both teams facing set point on numerous occasions only to extend the contest. A missed serve and a long kill out of bounds gave the visitors a 32-30 win. Essex came out strong in the fourth set winning 25-14 to earn a trip to OFSAA next week in Strathroy.
