The Windsor Spitfires have announced that Frank Evola will be leaving his role as Director of Scouting and Hockey Operations after nine seasons to become the General Manager of the Niagara IceDogs.

The Spitfires thanked Evola for his dedication, noting his vital role in building competitive rosters and identifying top talent, including helping lead the team to a Western Conference Championship in 2022.
“I’d like to thank John and Stephen Savage, Brian Schwab, and Bill Bowler for their unwavering trust in me,” said Evola in a release through the Spitfires. “I wish them all the best.”
