The league launched in Mid-November with Newfoundland already having won three of their first four games. Sudbury comes to Windsor with a 1-1 record losing to London in their opener before rebounding against the KW Titans last weekend. For Windsor, the early start before Christmas is exciting but forced management to shift into high gear to be ready.

"It was tricky on the business side," Team CEO Dartis Willis explained. "It was a restart for them (the players) very quickly and it's good for them so I'll go 50-50. I'm happy we're past a certain point. Glad to be back."

The Express visited with fans at Devonshire Mall Sunday and look forward to engaging with fans Friday night. The team welcomes Detroit Tigers legend Willie Horton will be part of the opening ceremonies. Tip off, 7pm.
