It looked as though Herman would have their losing skid extended to three after the Grifs fell behind 38-21 in the third quarter against Catholic Central. However Herman went on a 17-2 run and rode the momentum to a six-point lead late in the game.

Icia Dopazo hit back to back buckets including a three-pointer with two seconds left but the Comets fell one point short. Herman won 53-52 and snapped a two-game losing skid and improve to 6-2.

Catholic Central dropped their second in a row falling to 4th in the WECSSAA tier two division at 5-2. Syiera Stuart scored 20-points for Herman who close out the regular season Tuesday at home vs Brennan. The Comets were led by Natalie Fortier who topped all scorers with 20. CCH heads to Tecumseh Vista before closing out the season in Leamington.

Lauryn Wade scores two of her 14-points.
