The Herman Green Griffins dominated this year's edition of the Turkey Bowl at the University of Windsor Friday night winning 43-3. The Griffins led 22-0 at the half and kept the pedal to the metal in the second. Vyshonne Janusas scored a pair of touchdowns for Herman including a quick 42-yard strike in the third quarter as the Griffs pulled away.

The loss drops Holy Names to 2-1 and second place in the Tier 1 West Division behind 2-0 General Amherst, who beat St. Anne 18-6 earlier in the day. The victory moved Herman to 3-0 and a first place tie with 3-0 Kennedy in the Tier 1 East Division. The Griffins face The Clippers October 11th at Alumni Field.
