Herman returns to OFSAA

The Herman football team is heading back to OFSAA after beating Ursuline College 36-6 at Alumni Field Thursday Night. It was a big play night with John Cartier at the centre of the action. He scored a 109-yard fumble return, 70-yard punt return and a short 4-yard run. Vyshonne Janusas had a 65-yard pic6. The Griffins had a 15-0 lead at the half but scored twice against the Lancers in the third quarter to blow open the game.

Herman advances to the OFSAA Bowl next Wednesday at McMaster where they'll play #1 seeded St. Thomas More of Hamilton. The Green Machine won five straight OFSAA titles until they were dethroned by Holy Names in 2017.
