Kennedy remains undefeated

The Kennedy sr. girls basketball team escaped with a 42-40 win against Lajeunesse in a battle of undefeated teams. Olivia Scott scored nine of her eleven points in a second quarter that saw the visiting Royals outscore the Clippers 13-2. Lajeunesse had a 24-11 halftime lead but Kennedy turned up the intensity in the second half. Alisha Murray led the charge dropping eleven of her game-high twenty points. Maddy Bishop hit two pivotal three pointers to sway the momentum and Nneke Lockhart hit a trey giving Kennedy the lead for good 37-35 with 5:40 left in the game.
