Lajeunesse wins A volleyball championship

The Lajeunesse senior boys team beat Maranatha 3-2 to take the single-A title at the St. Clair Sportsplex Saturday afternoon. The Royals got beat up in the third set of this match 25-12 to fall behind two-games to one. Lajeunesse made some adjustments and looked poise in the fourth set winning 25-21 to set up a tie-breaking set.

The Royals took an early 5-1 in the deciding set and never looked back winning 15-5 to claim the championship. They will host the SWOSSA championship Wednesday.
