Lasers ready for showdown

St. Joe's beat Sandwich Secondary 2-0 in senior boys soccer extending their winning streak to four. Brandon Mucollari's goal late in the first half stood up as the game winner. Michael Zivcic scored a breakaway goal early in the second half on a great pass by Domenyk DiNunzio providing the Lasers with some insurance. Brandon Gaudreau picked up the clean sheet for the Lasers.

Next up for second place St. Joe's is an afternoon tilt with the top team in the WECSSAA 3A division Holy Names Knights (5-0-1). The Thursday afternoon game is at Holy Names at 1pm.
