Robson hits homer vs Cubs

Windsor's Jacob Robson hit a solo homerun Wednesday as Team Canada lost 11-7 to the Chicago Cubs in exhibition play. He went 1-3 at the plate. Tecumseh's Evan Rutckyj struggled on the mound giving up 2 walks, 2 hits and four runs.

Canada dropped a 5-3 decision to the Seattle Mariners Thursday. Robson went hitless in three innings but walked and scored a run.

Canada is preparing for the World Baseball Classic and begin pool play Sunday against Great Britain at Chase Field in Phoenix at 3:08pm ET.
